Alana (or Lana either one I'm not fussy) has grown up in a degrading household all her life where she's left in the shadow of the centre-of-her-parents-universe older sister, Cleo. To keep herself from spiralling into insanity, she creates, designs, tests. Inventing is her second nature, technology is her first language. Imitating Tony Stark's designs, Lana creates an Iron Man suit. It doesn't take her long to get on SHIELD's radar and it doesn't take much longer for her to be somewhat unwillingly pulled into the diverse and complicated world of superhero powers and their parents. As Lana realises who her true identity is, the Avengers disappear and she's thrown into a world of deities and lovesick psychopaths, to which she has more little influence than a pawn. Lana slowly realises the cost of consequences and what they may mean as she is forced to decide between the lives close to her or the Galaxy. Note: This runs in the timeline of Becky's story, however, the Disgraced and Forgotten Avenger are not required to read before reading this book.

I’m Victoria Gregory, just an ordinary junior, with an ordinary life. Basically, I belong to a middle class family. I have an older sister named Katrina who’s now a Senior. Yeah, I’m just plain and simple until I had an accidental encounter with this certain guy. At that point, I began to wonder how come he was the person I met online, among all the 7 billion people in the world. Maybe that was a mere coincidence? Or was it destiny’s call for me? © 2014 by sophiapagaran All rights reserved.

"Kiss me." He orders, slamming my locker shut. "Is she coming?" I ask, turning my head to look behind me, but he grabs my face and makes me look up at him. "Yes, now kiss me." I do as told, getting on my tippy toes as I lean up to kiss him. He kisses me back slowly, before he pins me against the lockers and deepens the kiss. My eyes widen and I try to push him away. This isn't part of the deal. He pulls away, a full on smirk plastered on his face. "I lied." He confesses, turning around. "She wasn't coming." Then, he walks away.
