2050: The year of the apocalypse. Treaties don't always mean peace. When one battle ends, many more find their beginning. A ragtag group of teens is invited to attend the summer Performance Institution for Talented Youth, or as some call it, PITY. They each travel to the mysterious Murray Mansion to begin their studies, but the experience is not what they were expecting. The place is run by silent maids who look almost exactly the same as each other, and the students almost never see the elusive, card-obsessed owner of the mansion, J. Q. King. And when even stranger things start happening, the teens have to put their heads together and find out what exactly PITY is and why they of all people were summoned there.
