The Road Devils Motorcycle Club is all about brotherhood and family. The lure to have a place where they can belong is what drives the men to become members. Most have no one else to call family. That's just one of the reasons that Daryl "Trax" Dixon call this club home. Another is that his older brother, Merle was a member first. From sixteen years old on, it's all Daryl knew. Here he's treated as an equal, finding the loyalty and family he had been deprived of as a kid. It was where he found his natural talent for fixing cars and motorcycles could not only earn him a living but the respect of the president of his club. He never realized that on one hot Georgia afternoon, after a long solo ride to clear his head, that the motorist stranded her finds on the side of the road would change his life forever.

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.

"Your father is friends with mine. They like to have a few drinks and then use me as their personal slut." She said, shrugging her shoulders and walking away.

When hell breaks loose, Quinn is first to leave her 'home'. She finds her ideal group and a certain archer that changes her life completely. She participates in the group as a good fighter and is cared and loved by everyone in the group. They keep moving, trying to keep safe, but in this kind of world, safe isn't an option. This is a fan fiction based on AMC's The Walking Dead, but more importantly, Daryl Dixon. I am following the story line for The Walking Dead. Running from her life in the big city, Lexi get stranded in a small one horse town. Having an immediate attraction to the local mechanic, Lexi knows it would be doomed from the start if she even considered pursuing him especially if he's already a father and has his entire life planned to stay in this place. Fighting with herself she finds quickly that she is losing the war and can't help succumbing to her attraction to this man who was her complete opposite, like Fire and Ice.
