A Ranger is given many opportunities to capture and bring to justice a life long thief who seems to always outmaneuver him at every turn. Would you take the opportunity to bring him to justice if it meant putting in danger the one you care for? Ryan has a strong will of justice and takes his job very seriously, he has hunted down the same thief for all his life. He is given the opportunity to bring Garrett to justice, but their is one problem. Both of them have human companions who are brought into the mix. He will travel through unnamed towns and endless woods to capture him, but he has a human partner to worry about and Garrett has a human girl he brings everywhere as an accomplice. Might not sound like a problem till you realize Ryan and Garrett are Fay. They have cat like ears, sharp fangs, magic, oh and they size shift. Their original size are skyscraper giants who dominate the land or they can choose to change to the size of a meniscal human like their partners. How can Ryan seize Garrett safely without harming the miniscule humans who are the size of his finger?

Leaves were rustling, and the dirt was crunching under his boots. It has been hours of wandering through the woods, assigned to slay the giant by his commander. The knight knew the real reason he was assigned to this mission. Everybody in Luhan looked down at him, though for no particular reason. He was walking through these woods because it would be an easy way to get rid of him. He ignored those negative thoughts and focused on his mission. To slay the giant. Before being assigned to this, it was inconceivable to consider sending an army, let alone one knight go after a giant. He chose to focus on those thoughts, his commander knowing he was ready.
