The bombs hit in 2021, it not only decimating the population, but destroying cities and miles of landscape surrounding them. Some bombs didn't explode, instead they held an infectious disease which not only infected the population, killing massive amounts of people, but crippled the areas, and at times left craters where they landed. The few survivors are spreading out, making it harder for the muraders from track them down and kill them. Unfortunately, the populations of survivors are dwindling fast and soon human's may become extinct. There's not much left except the will to survive in what was once a great nation. There's supposedly a group of well-lead individuals, somewhere in the midwest, making life as they knew it work again.
