If there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that relationships aren't always so black and white. It's like there's this vivid line in every relationship: on one side, there's friendship and on the other, there's romance. But then there's always this weird gray area in the middle. This is the area where all the unsaid thoughts and unexpressed feelings live. Where the "what ifs" and "should have beens" go to die. You always want to pick your side of the relationship line and stay there. Because once you begin veering into that gray area, that line will start to become blurred until, eventually, it disappears altogether.

That scenario sounds perfect for fairy tales and movies. But this was real life, and things didn't always work out so perfectly. I did fall for a boy, and by some grace of God, he fell for me too.
