He had dark eyes, eyes that looked as chaotic and lively as a rushing river, but they always gazed at me with tenderness. Large, rough hands capable of destroying and causing immense pain, but he always touched me gently. He was tall, tall enough to loom over me but it only made his embrace feel that much safer. He was powerful, enough to use his status to get what he wanted but he never wielded it wrongly. All of that sounded lovely, but he was asking for too much, far more than I wanted to give. The price of my refusal however was too high. I would have to give in. Credits for the lovely cover go to @HellsTorturer

He was powerful. He was terrifying. Said to be cruel and unjust. Terrifyingly possessive. He had the world, but to him she was his world. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his miraculum.

Do opposites attract each other always? Meet Arabella Dickens and Dominic King, two different people coming from very different backgrounds they have very little in common. Arabella Dickens a 26-year-old human rights lawyer and also a part-time social worker, running a small private law firm in Brooklyn, New York with her best friend Jemima Moretti. Engaged to her boyfriend whom she had been dating for over six years, everything seemed so perfect or so it seems, turns out the last person whom she thought would never hurt her left her broken and miserable. They say one should never make hasty decisions when one is lonely and heartbroken. But Arabella decided for once to just go with the flow. One week of hooking up with the enigmatic and gorgeous man on the beautiful island of Santorini, turned out to be more than she bargained for. "I clearly told you, it was just for a week no strings attached, why are you so adamant on rekindling that relationship, Is it friendship you want?I'm all up for it", she said those last words sardonically. "Friendship? Arabella. Do you think I have been driving myself crazy just so I could ask you to be my friend?", no sooner Dominic said those words, he pulled her into his arms roughly and captured her mouth, giving her a long lingering kiss. "Arabella I'm not done here, I want you and you know in what way I want you, I'll have you. You belong to me", he said with his deep voice, gazing at her with his hauntingly grey-blue steady eyes, caressing her roughly bruised kissed lips with his thumb, and walked away, leaving her dumbfounded. Dominic King was a 28-year-old multi-billionaire, coming from generations of wealth, with the world at his feet. Never one to be in a serious relationship it was always casual. But that changed when he met her. His obsession for Arabella was undeniable...but was it LOVE? ©copyright ayanz88 NOTE: COVER BY @optimistic_tears
