Mary, a twenty one year old seeking for adventure, accidently runs into the wizard. After a terrifying encounter with one of Howl's spells, her age is decreased to just a newborn. Howl must gather his information on raising a child, but also a girl that was very dear to his heart, almost as close then Sophie was. Will he be able to get Mary back to her twenty one year old self, or will he have to raise her, knowing the age difference will keep them apart?
