An elf enters a street-race tournament to escape a corrupt city trapped in endless night. ***** || Voltyss is one of the last-standing cities caught in the Evernight, an endless night that spread across the land when the moon and stars fell from the sky. The city's magical neon aura is enough to ward off the monsters that lurk in the dark and anyone who leaves the city is never seen again. || Alyndra is the only elf left in the neon city and when she witnesses a murder in a back-alley, the House of Horns gives her a choice: join ranks and pledge allegiance or die. Without much of an option, she steps into the world of crime, and the House of Horns uses her enhanced speed and agility to deliver illegal light-weapons to their list of buyers. Alyndra quickly falls into place while balancing her job as a lightrunner and her strange relationship with Venjo, the boss's son who wants her gone just as much as she does. But when the boss orders a hit on an electric mage and Alyndra leaves him alive, she's screwed. Her only way out is to buy her freedom and the prize for Voltyss's street race tournament could give her that and more. On the run and living in hiding, Alyndra enlists a group of unlikely allies. Gidget, the tech-savvy girl with a wolf for a friend. Tiny, a giant orc with a sweet side. And Macon, the sarcastic, yet alluring mage Alyndra failed to kill. Planning heists to build their zoomer for the race and struggling through the mishaps along the way become a smaller problem when the neon lights around the city start to flicker and hungry Nightstalkers slip through the cracks. "You have been sentenced to life in prison. Your ship will leave tomorrow for the island. Gather your things." When you've been decided a criminal, you're a criminal. There are no ifs, ands, or buts; whether you did the crime or not. Courts and juries are no longer used. If the authorities think you've done it, there's nothing anyone can do about your impending sentence. Being sent to the island is devastating, no matter how long you have to be there. No contact with the outside world, no way to reach your loved ones. It might be set up to appear more humane, more free than prisons of the past, but looks can be deceiving. On the way to the island, the huge prison ship begins to sink. There's no reason for it. Not from a storm, not from an iceberg. The ship just goes down. It's up to the remaining eleven survivors to discover why, and make sure they stay alive while doing so. * * * * * * * * * * Accomplishments: Featured! #37 in Sci-fi #1 in #BreakStereotypes * * * * * * * * * * * The gorgeous (and royalty free!) cover for this book was made by @CosmicGraphics Book started during #NaNoWriMo2016 and will be finished in 2017 Note: This book is published on WATTPAD ONLY! In the near future, two teens are swept up in the battle for the internet. A fast-paced thriller about the consequences of the choices we make. Jonah Delacroix can't stand the real world - so he lives most of his life inside a global computer-based virtual world called the Metasphere, where everyone is represented by an avatar. When he discovers the avatar of his dead father, and assumes his online identity, he meets Samantha Kavanaugh, a deadly stranger fighting to keep the Metasphere free. Together, they race across the real world with a secret society to protect the freedom of all mankind. This is the first of a four books series that is published in paperback around the world by Hachette. If you like fast-paced thrillers like The Hunger Games, Ready Player One, and The Maze Runner, I think you'll love METAWARS. I'd really appreciate your feedback, and if you get pulled into Jonah & Sam's adventures, please find the sequels (there are 3!) in good bookshops or online, published by Hachette. Oh, and don't forget to vote!

When orphaned siblings Andra and Grunge are abducted from the landfill site they call home, they are pressed into service on the HMS Ghandi with three teenage aliens where they form a surrogate family in an unfair universe. PARTY OF FIVE meets GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY....a love letter to space faring #ScienceFiction. Highest Science Fiction Ranking: #1 (that was a pretty awesome day!!!) I wrote STELLAR OBJECTS to explore the nature of family, through the lens of science fiction genre. It combines everything I love about scifi, drama, coming of age, and attempts to push the boundaries of (intergalactic) diversity and the very essence of inclusivity. I'm a published author and I shared this book with a handful of publishers, one of whom called it "too diverse." Somewhat in anger, and also in protest, I decided to share it with the wattpad community and I've been thrilled that it's found a global readership here. This is an unedited book, so comments are welcome, as are constructive criticisms. I hope you love reading STELLAR OBJECTS as much as I loved writing it. Namaste, Jeff
