To be the better boyfriend, maybe even husband. And a father to his two growing children. As well, as adjusting to his so called freedom. Freedom of not running, or hiding out anymore. Every time I look into his eyes I see that glimmer but of course, it's always too good to be true. I can see right through him. What I've learned is to expect the unexpected because not everything is what it seems like. From one day to the next, everything can change. People leave you, people come back. But it only takes that one person to change your life, that one person you can't live without. It doesn't matter how hard you try, you still can't let go. And in the end, there's nothing else that matters because to me, he's imperfectly perfect.

Ashley Ridgell I was a simple girl with a simple life; father in the government, mother as a lawyer. My life was pretty good, almost perfect if you could call it that. I refused to leave, to move to another city, but I had to. It couldn't be that bad after all; new school, new friends, new life. It was a star over, at least I thought I had one before one specific boy changed everything. Austin Mahone Annoying, dangerous, but highly attractive; the boy I hated the most, or at least I thought I did. He wasn't the popular guy in school, he was pretty much the opposite; everyone knew him but no one dared to look him in the eye.
