Laybah and Mohsin were the best of friends, anything you can think of- games, stories, sleepovers- they've done it. But all that changed when Laybah became a 6th grader. Why? Because in Islam, after a girl reaches a certain age, she can't go mingling around with boys, and being the good daughter Laybah was, when her mother said she couldn't go playing with Mohsin, she did as she was told, understanding why. But soon after two to three years even talking to him became a no. Slowly the times they spent together became a memory to Laybah and when she would see him, she couldn't help but wonder if he remembered too.
