The year is late 2016, near the middle of my sophomore school year. I live a pretty normal life in West Virginia, although I crave for an adventurous change. For now, though, I'll stick with surviving being a teenager, which isn't that bad. However, one seemingly predictable day, I get my wish. When I thought of adventures, I thought maybe getting lost in the woods overnight, or putting my archery skills to use to save someone. Instead, a strange anomaly swallows me up, and the next thing I know, I'm lying on my back in pain somewhere beyond Earth's solar system.
