Eddie is ecstatic to be playing hockey for his favorite team from when he was little. The coach, Mr. C, is his favorite and the team welcomes him easily. But at the last practice before the season starts, it's announced there will be a new coach. In comes Kevin Ballister, a former college coach who will be taking Mr. C's place. Kevin seems to target Eddie during practices but it's Kevin's targeting of Eddie off the ice that strikes him as odd.
