Running Coyote is a hunter, she's also a Lakota Sioux Shaman in Training who can perceive things most people can't. Her and the brothers worked a few jobs together over the years but she mainly stays in touch with Bobby to keep up to date on hunter news. When spiraling black shadows converged on a Healing Ceremony her tribe was performing and two days later two of her friends committed a horrific murder she called Bobby who told her to call Sam and Dean.
