Eighteen year old Raelene Braden wakes up not knowing anything about herself. She doesn't know her name, her age or even what happened. She is told that she had just woken from a five year coma, after being hit by a vehicle. When she figures out that there's a chance her muscles won't be able to support her, and that she may not be able to walk, she doesn't know what to do. She's far behind in her schooling, so she has a decision to make, stay with her family and deal with a minimum wage job, or go to some adult school for delinquents just to get her grade twelve so she can head off to university?
