The new girl. I know what you're thinking: this must be one of those stories where the new girl falls in love with the quarterback and they live happily ever after. You've heard that story about a million times; this is not one of those stories. In this story, the new girl, Elizabeth Turner, has a secret. On the outside, she may appear to be the pretty blonde girl, but on the inside, she's hiding something. In Liz's former life, she was a tomboy. Growing up, her dream was to be a player in the NBA. She lived and breathed basketball. When she came to a suburb of New York for her senior year of high school, she made the decision to keep her love of basketball a secret. No one knows she plays. No one knows her past. Why does Liz shield a part of her life from her new friends? What's keeping her back from exposing the truth? Well, to some, she's just the girl who wore Jordans. *IF YOU LIKE TGWWJ AND WANT TO READ MORE OF LIZ/DYLAN/ERIC'S STORY (ONCE YOU'RE DONE WITH TBWWBS), GO READ MY NEW STORY "THE CLUB"*

[Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices. Swish (n) A shot which goes through the net without hitting the backboard or rim. (v) To make a swish. The only thing Sal wants is to make the basketball team. Her older brother is the captain of the boys’ varsity team, so it only makes sense that basketball runs through her blood. Except for the fact that it doesn’t. Bring in Ezra, a cute senior with a mysterious backstory and a better jump shot than Jordan. He decides to help Sal make the team, whatever it takes: late nights in the gym alone, LOTS of contact, and a little more-than-friendly bonding. They both want Sal to make the team, but at the end of the day, all that really matters is the swish.

The Bad Boy and The Tomboy is now published as a Wattpad Book! As a Wattpad reader, you can access both the Original Edition and Books Edition upon purchase. Nicknames, a love of soccer, and school rumors are all the bad boy and the tomboy have in common. But if they give each other a chance, will they find something more? ***** Seventeen-year-old Macy Anderson is a tomboy that plays soccer, hangs with the guys, can't stand girls (except her best friend Jasmine) and doesn't know who Sam Cahill is. But when the pair unexpectedly meet, everything goes downhill from there. Because Sam Cahill is the school's bad boy, known for skipping classes and getting into trouble. Not to mention his cocky attitude, British accent, and magnetic charm, which seems to work on all the girls -- except Macy, who has a rule not date in high school. But when Sam starts showing her his moves (on and off the soccer field), Macy begins to see a different guy under the leather-clad exterior. Will that be enough to convince her that he's the one guy worth breaking the rules for? [[Word count: 300,000 - 350,000 words]] [[2015 Watty Winner]] All Rights Reserved- ©nikki20038

Adriana Messi. The name seemed so foreign. After living most of her life thinking she was an only child who just happened to have the same birthday as world-famous Lionel Messi, it was a slap in the face. A slap she probably deserved. No one should ever really switch over from being a Barcelona fan to a Real Madrid fan, but her circumstances were different than anyone else in the world. The twin sister to a legend, the one who most guys would date, even without her relations. But, Adriana doesn't like being a girl in the shadows of her brother. She knows she is strong, and that she can do anything that she puts her mind to. Her boyfriend saw that fighting spirit in her, and over the years, became very close. He was her best friend and her boyfriend. The best kind of relationship. But now, throw in the twin brother, the star for an opposing team. One whose hatred runs deep in this boyfriend, because this boyfriend isn't just your average Joe. This boyfriend is another worldwide superstar, the arch-rival of her brother. By now, you might be able to guess who it is. Cristiano Ronaldo. And Adriana is stuck in the middle, but she knows that she can make a difference. She had been playing soccer for years and had learned quite a few tips and tricks from her boyfriend, and she knows that she could play professional soccer. But just remember, sometimes, you could be given a blessing in disguise. It's just a matter to figure out when it is a blessing, and when it is a curse. Just to clarify in case you were wondering, even though it might not seem like it at the beginning, I adore Lionel Messi. Just throwing that out there.

Kelsey Rogers lives and breathes ice hockey. She grew up with a father and brother who both played, and from them she gained a fierce passion for the sport. When her father’s company relocates him, Kelsey must leave her team behind, only to find out that there is no girls’ team where she now lives. Instead of giving up on the sport she loves, Kelsey fights her way onto the local boys’ travel team. However, the difficulty doesn’t stop there. Kelsey has to deal with boys telling her she plays a boys’ sport and that she isn’t as good because of being a girl. Kelsey isn’t one to back down from a challenge, so instead of quitting, she vows to prove that a girl can play ice hockey. Enter Dane Young. He’s the captain of Kelsey’s new team, and one of the major reasons she made it. Despite that, though, Dane is probably harder on her than the team’s coach. To Kelsey, it’s as if he wants to see her fail. Kelsey is determined not to let that happen.
