I shouldn't have been walking around alone at night. I shouldn't have stopped and watch the obviously crazy man set the building on fire. And I sure of hell shouldn't have accidentally caught his attention. Then maybe, just maybe I wouldn't have been kidnapped by the world's most evil super villain. And then hopefully right now I wouldn't be wishing that he wasn't completely crazy, and wanted to kill every super hero in the world, and that he would, I don't know, take me to the movies, hold my hand as we walked together, or maybe take me to dinner one night. You know normal, cute couple stuff. Instead he likes to kick puppies when no ones watching, dropping me from high buildings, and throwing people into traffic, annoyingly. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't have been taken by someone who's whole mission in life is to watch every super die, and cackle evilly while he thinks of it. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't start feeling bad for this super villain. Maybe I wouldn't be questioning everything I've ever learned about him. And God forbid, I wouldn't be loving a villain.

Prison Diaries: Book 1 (complete) A law-abiding student gets entangled with a broody inmate when she discovers there has been a miscarriage of justice. She goes in to help, but ends up breaking the first rule of interning at a prison; she falls for the inmate. ***** Carter Reynolds' teenage years ended the second the gavel hit the sound block. Or maybe they ended when the police found him standing over a dead body, drenched in blood. It might even have been before that. When he connected his fist with a face that left a broken jaw in its wake. Either way, it was over. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He accepted his fate, only promising himself to never care for anyone so intensely again. Almost four years into his sentence, Arya Crawford walks through the wrought iron prison gates. A self-proclaimed miniature philanthropist with a heart of gold, a law-abiding student with an urge to always have fun, a girl with a silent cause. She had taken up an internship at the New York State Penitentiary. And in time, Carter and Arya both realize something. She had broken the first rule instructed by the warden. She had fallen for an inmate. Which meant she couldn't stay. He had broken the promise he made to himself. He had started to care for her. Which meant he couldn't let her leave. But it's a little difficult to make that happen when you're stuck in a closet sized cell. And waiting twenty-one years is out of the question. ***** Highest Rankings: #6 in Romance, #2 in Passion, #4 in Badboy, #1 in Witty (for those who don't think an inmate/prison trope is their cup of tea, don't be put off because the story is first and foremost 'romance') Disclaimer** Reader discretion advised. - Mature content Story contains explicit language, sexual content, and physical and sexual violence.

The twenty-five year sentence he was given commuted solely because of one woman. The woman who just so happened to break the first rule of working at a prison; she fell for an inmate. And then, a secret made her leave, never to return. A secret that would bring Carter to his knees. She was trouble. And he was going to go looking for her. And you know what they say about those who go looking for trouble? They always find it. But will all the trouble be worth it? ***** Disclaimer** Reader discretion advised. - Mature content Story contains explicit language, sexual content, and physical and sexual violence.

❝Interesting, the only thing stronger than your craving for blood is your love for this one girl.❞ Allison Christopher had seen many states. She had moved around for as long as she could remember and she had never lived in one place longer than three years. So when her mother relocates them for the umpteenth time to Forks, Washington - a town that wasn't even on most maps - and tells her that it's their last stop for a while, the girl was skeptical. Allison didn't expect to befriend a family that came straight out of an episode of Supernatural, and she certainly didn't expect to fall in love with one of them. Allison promised herself she wouldn't form any attachments before she stepped foot into Forks, but then she met him and her entire world turned upside down and suddenly he was the one holding her down to Earth, not gravity. ❝And her heart was the best part, it would always calm the storm for those who were afraid of a little rain.❞ Allison Christopher made herself into a new woman during her time in Forks, Washington. Before, she was a gentle girl with a heart warmer than the blood rushing through her veins. And she was still that girl, but that girl was buried underneath battle scars and cold eyes. She became a warrior, who fought with her life to protect others. She became a soldier, who battled to save the ones she loves. Allison walked proudly with battle scars marring her once fair skin, and she held her head high with dignity when someone's eyes lingered on the marks. If people were rain, then Allison had once viewed herself as a light drizzle. Now, after she'd been through hell and returned with blood stained hands and smiling lips, she knew she was a hurricane. Underneath her hard exterior, she was still the same girl she had once been. She still loved with all she had, and she still forgave easily. She still laughed until she cried, and she still had the warmest heart. And her heart was the best part; it never failed to calm her hurricane into a drizzle for those who were afraid of a little rain.
