She loses her license and ability to practice due to, as punishment, taking full responsibility of the 'walking patient' incident. On her search for a new job, Kimberly runs into the 'walking patient'. Knowing her situation caused by his actions, he offers a once in a lifetime opportunity. ----- "Look, you're a doctor-" He started. "Was." I corrected. "You can still be." He said, running his fingers through his dark hair, "Look, you can work for us and I'll pay triple the amount you were earning at that lousy hospital." "Us?' I asked. Who was he? How exactly does he plan on paying me triple? He grabbed my wrist and pulled me inwards, my face inches away from his chest. With his free hand, he gently tucked my hair behind my ear. His breath tickled on my exposed skin as he whispered two words that sent shivers down my back. "The Mafia."

"What the fuck are you-" I stopped mid-sentence once I saw what they were staring at. James next to me whistles while Frankie mumbles a 'damn' under his breath as we stare down at her. This is not Nikki. Long silk brown waves cascade across the floor of the van as she breaths steady from her plump pink lips. Dark lashes kiss her pale white skin, and I resist the urge to run my knuckles down her cheek just to see if her skin is as soft as it looks. She looks like an Angel, in every sense of the word. Slowly my gaze found her name tag on her scrubs reading it after admiring her curves, "Theo?" I read, ignoring how right it sounded on my tongue. Where have I heard that name before? "You expect me to believe a woman with credentials in journalism and writing wants to be a Nanny?" He questions and the smile he is desperately trying to hide shines through for a moment. "Yes," I say with a shrug ignoring how close his body is to mine and add, "and actually I also have an associates degree is child services." He can no longer contain his amusement as he stares at me, I try my hardest to keep this tough girl act up but as his stare bores into me I begin to feel my heart beat quicken. One of his hands move to the side of my face and tuck some hair behind my ears, I hold my breath as his skin brushes against mine.
