Charlotte Everley and her best friend had a tradition. Every summer on June 26th, they call one number--one random number of the same area code, purely for entertainment. When Charlotte's best friend Stella found love with the help of their 'tradition', she added another reason. To find Charlotte a boyfriend. After three years of endless match ups, set ups, blind dates. and not to mention two calls to, thankfully, female receivers, the summer of eleventh grade comes rolling by, and so does the fateful day of June 26th. The only difference is that, this time, the stranger behind the phone is most definitely male. And the president's eighteen year old son.

"One night. That's all I want. I promise I won't expect anything more than what you offer." She murmured, pleadingly and reached back to the zipper. Her dress slipped down and pooled at her feet, exposing her sweet little body to me. Doing my absolute best to look away, I swallowed hard and shook my head. I needed to get her out of here and home in her own damn bed before I changed my fucking mind, plow through that little barrier that was keeping her innocent, and let her learn the hard way. "Damnit, Hart. Put your dress back on. I can't do this. I'm trying my best to stay out of trouble. You are trouble." "Please..." She begged quietly. "I won't be clingy. I won't say anything to anyone. No one will ever know. I promise." As she began to beg me, my eyes lifted to her and my mind began flipping through the excuses I could use to let her down gently. But when I caught a glimpse of her scantily clad body, I knew right then and there I was fucked. Utter perfection. Me being the reckless Burkhalter I was- I threw caution to the wind as soon as I saw flesh. Fuck my parents. Fuck hard work and responsibility. Fuck being the good son I was supposed to be. Tomorrow is another day. A new beginning. Tonight, she's mine. Arrogant and reckless Austin Burkhalter's life has been thrown off the track after being thrown in the drunk tank for the second time in less than a month. In order for him to get his precious lifestyle back, his parents are sending him to live and work on a farm in a small town in Mississippi where he must learn the definition of hard work and responsibility. Everything changes when he is faced with the beautiful and innocent southern belle Elizabeth Hart, the farmer's daughter. From the moment he meets her, he knows things are going downhill for the both of them. After one night of pure lust and pent-up desire, they are both faced with life-altering bittersweet betrayal.

"Hey beautiful." Someone whispered huskily in my ear. I looked up into beautiful blue eyes. "Hello handsome." I replied in a calm tone. He pushed me up against the locker and started breathing huskily in my ear. "Wanna go out sometime?" He whispered sounding more than breathless. "It depends..." I stated sounding confident. "On what beautiful?" He questioned sounding breathless, needy, and desperate. "If you can handle me..." With that I walked off leaving him breathless at my locker by himself. Allie, the school's star pitcher and her two best friends Mike and Trish are in for the ride of their lives their senior year as they battle love... and loss.

How long do you hold on to hope? Danica Greene has always hated flying, so it was almost laughable that the boy of her dreams was a pilot. She married him anyway and together, she and Etsell settled into a life where love really did seem to conquer all. Danica is firmly rooted on the ground in Blackhawk, the small town in northern Iowa where they grew up, and the wide slashes of sky that stretch endlessly across the prairie seem more than enough for Etsell. But when the opportunity to spend three weeks in Alaska helping a pilot friend presents itself, Etsell accepts and their idyllic world is turned upside down. It’s his dream, he reveals, and Danica knows that she can’t stand in the way. Ell is on his last flight before heading home when his plane mysteriously vanishes shortly after takeoff, leaving Danica in a free fall. Etsell is gone, but what exactly does gone mean? Is she a widow? An abandoned wife? Or will Etsell find his way home to her? Danica is forced to search for the truth in her marriage and treks to Alaska to grapple with the unanswerable questions about her husband’s mysterious disappearance. But when she learns that Ell wasn’t flying alone and that a woman is missing, too, the bits and pieces of the careful life that she had constructed for them in Iowa take to the wind. A story of love and loss, and ultimately starting over, Far From Here explores the dynamics of intimacy and the potentially devastating consequences of the little white lies we tell the ones we love. [Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices.
