When Charlotte's mother is appointed as the tour manager for a British boy band, One Direction, Charlotte has no choice but to miss the summer holidays in Australia and join her mother, touring the UK for three whole months. Charlotte forms a fast relationship with the young band members - one in particular. She must remember her place on the trip as the tour manager's daughter and struggle through silent heartbreak in order to keep the peace.
