A vampire? Sleeping on coffins, garlic and sunlight kill them? Not at all actually. Michael Clifford is a 17 year old vampire. But not like many. He refuses to eat, even if it hurts him. A human is not food. Not in Michael's eyes at least. He doesn't talk to humans and stays out of people's way, then his temptations don't get the best of him. What happens when he meets up with Ashton in a boys bathroom, with blood dripping down his arm. Michael starts to protect the self harming kid, even if it means to drive himself insane.

Long story short, Michael Clifford was a mistake. Just the outcome of another awful rape crime. His mother claimed she loved him, but even he could see she only saw the man who'd hurt her beyond repair when she looked at him. His stepfather ignored him, while his half brother makes cruel jokes about how he 'wasn't supposed to exist.' When he meets Ashton Irwin, all Ashton wants to do is prove that he has a purpose. That he was wanted..

This is a story about a teen boy, sent away to a camp in a vain attempt by his father to "get the gay out of him." So Ashton was sent so a gay camp.
