This is a story about a girl named Sky Greene. Sky is a sixteen year old girl that gets beat by her abusive, alcoholic Dad. Her life used to be great before her Mom died when she was seven. Her Dad was fine until two years later he started going out and drinking. Sky would be left by herself until her dad came home after going to a bar with his "friends". Sky was eleven when her Dad started beating her. He would come home every night and take out all his anger on her. One night, her Dad takes it to far, and Sky decides she's had enough, so she runs away. Sky has to fend for herself. Will she be able to handle it on her own, or will she cave under the pressure and end up calling an old friend and finding true love in the process?
