14 year old Alexa Mendoza was diagnosed with leukemia. Aka cancer. With the help of family, and her best friend Katie, her cancer went away with chemotherapy and she went back to being healthy Alexa. Or so they thought. Alexa's cancer comes back, but this time its much farther along- Stage 3 Leukemia. This time, the doctors aren't so sure that Alexa is going to have a "smooth" recovery. Or maybe a recovery at all. The timeline of this is going to be junior year, but like everything that happened is season 1-4 was just all smushed together into the first two years of highschool. Which is your favorite character? This book was created when I was in my Heartland phase. I still love the show, and I watch the new episodes when they come out. I'm just not as addicted to it now as I was when I began to make this book. So this will no longer have updates and I will not be deleting it as it is a reminder of memories I enjoyed while being obsessed with this show.
