This fanfiction story continues the story of Klaroline right after s4e23. It is time Caroline and Klaus to go on different ways. Klaus heads to New Orleans and Caroline stays in Mystic Falls before going to college. Although they are apart, they keep thinking about each other from time to time. "We just had a minor quarrel. Nothing serious, right love?” He leaned in to peck her lips, but she recoiled. Klaus grip tightened, his eyes darkening seriously. He leaned forward, so that his warm breath caressed her ear. She stifled a shiver. “If we really are together, you better show it. Otherwise, Tyler’s body might end up with one of those lovely girls tonight. They seem more than willing,” he threatened. She imagined with pain Tyler’s body kissing other girls, and even more agonizing was the fact that it was Klaus who would be doing it. She closed the gap between them, and kissed him. His other arm immediately snaked around her, holding her close as he prolonged the kiss. This is a Klaroline fan-fiction of how I think that Klaus and Caroline's relationship should be in season 4. In season four, after Tyler chooses running from Klaus over staying with Caroline, she turns to Klaus for comfort. After this, they begin a relationship that is thrown for a loop when Caroline discovers she is pregnant. "Caroline, please, just talk to me..." I heard Klaus say with some desperation in his voice. "This is all your fault...." I said quietly, still not facing him. "Cmon love, that isn't tr-" "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!! AND DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME LOVE!!!" I shouted standing up and turning to face him. "IF YOU HADN'T GONE AND MESSED MY LIFE AND EVERYONE ELSE'S LIVES UP THEN MAYBE TYLER WOULD STILL BE HERE AND BONNIE WOULDN'T BE DEAD!!!" "Caro-" "DON'T YOU EVEN TRY TO TALK YOURSELF OUT OF THIS ONE, WHEN EVERYONE GETS BACK I SWEAR I WILL-" I was cut off by Klaus grabbing me. I felt his hands go around my neck and then every thing went black. *** Basically, after Tyler leaves town to get away from Klaus in season four, Caroline runs into the woods and is soon followed by Klaus. This sets off chain reactions that just might lead to Caroline's Surrender.
