This is a collection of words. When strung in this particular order, they hold meaning to me. Maybe they will for you, too. Disclaimer: I'm just your average angsty teen girl. Also, it pisses me off that Wattpad doesn't let its users indent. Or use strikethrough. Blah.

The fire goes out, and the crystal ball falls onto the table with a loud crack as it hits the wood. Where is Elsie?, is all I'm able to think at the moment. My heart leaping out my chest, I sit still, my breath a little disjointed and uneven. It's absolutely quiet now--now that my thoughts are silenced. The only thing I can hear is the pumping of my heart. And it's loud. I'm filled with panic, and what makes it worse is there's someone next to me. It leans closer. I can feel its breath on my neck. I can't move. I don't move. I feel its lips against my hair. "Murderer," it whispers. In this death-defying, despondent prequel of Death the Kid's True Wife's Story, we follow Malachi Perish as he embarks on a journey that will change his life forever. Forced to flee the kingdom after being so treacherously deceived and framed for his father's death, Malachi must face several obstacles that will test his abilities, morals, and most of all, his own nature when a sudden and unwanted responsibility is placed upon his young shoulders. The childishly sadistic prince will have to make a choice on which his life, and the life of another, depends on. Will the devilishly devious sadist conform to the needs of fate? Or will his sadistic desires consume him and drown his soul completely? Hauntingly suspenseful and dramatically thought-provoking, The Melancholy Life of Malachi Perish will leave you breathless with every chapter.

There are hundreds of fantastic books about writing for hopeful authors to choose from, but most of them are boring, complicated, and bogged down by filler. This little book is brief, straight forward, and easy to understand. I hope it will serve as an easy-to-read manual to help serious writers perfect their craft. I should say right off the bat that I am NOT an expert; I forget my own tips all the time! However, I do know what generally works for me, so I thought I could pass it on to my friends at Wattpad. One last note: this book is for writers who have a basic understanding of grammar and story structure. If you’re interested in more fundamental steps you can take to write a great story, check out the companion to this book!

[BEING PUBLISHED -- sample and more info inside] One girl. One camp for delinquents. One hell of a summer. Falice Winters has always been the goody-two shoes. Her twin Arabelle . . . not so much. So what happens when their dad plans to ship Arabelle off to a camp to clean up her act? Well, naturally, Arabelle would find a way out. Her solution? Falice! It was a simple plan: Falice would pretend to be Arabelle and go to the delinquent camp while Arabelle got to have the time of her life with her boyfriend in London. Falice thought her summer was going to consist of sitting on the couch reading novels all day or hanging out with her friends. Never did it cross her mind that she would be pretending to be her sister in a camp of delinquents. But now she's stuck at a camp all summer where being rude is the new "in." And everything turns for the worse when someone figures out her secret. Will Falice survive the summer? Or will everyone learn that she's faking delinquency?

Enjoy this sort-of story that @ninjasoap and I wrote when we were 11 "In the dead of night, shadows move through the darkness, their movement visible only through small variations in the light. Invisible. They are on an important mission, a recruitment mission. Possibly one of the most important recruitment missions ever. Mistakes cannot be made. The target in question will be a tough one for sure. They must catch Target 156 in her moment of weakness. Failure is not an option."
