Living in a large house with the set designer, his uncle, of many popular movies, Kellin lives a life just like any other 17 year old kid. Until he meets Vic Fuentes, a boy with stars in his eyes and shoes made for walking down the red carpet like a king. Kellin stumbles into the drama Hollywood always had intended for him, and he's afraid he'll never be able to escape the flashing lights and pretty gowns that everyone dreams of

Kellin and Vic are on the verge of a breakup. When Jenna notices this, she decides to fix it by sending them on a road trip with one goal: to bond over graffiti. But will this trip do its job? Or will it just make them hate each other even more?

Vic, a serial killer who likes to look at it as a hobby stumbles upon a loner, Kellin. He plans on killing him but soon finds himself in a compromising situation when Kellin wants to kill himself but Vic ends up saving him and they fall for each other.

schiz·o·phre·ni·a: a long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behavior, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships into fantasy and delusion, and a sense of mental fragmentation. In which Vic Fuentes is a twenty-one year old man diagnosed with schizophrenia living within a psychiatric hospital, and Kellin is an obnoxious twenty year old burnout who somehow finds himself in Vic's room every afternoon.

Kellin starts seeing a therapist after a tragedy that had happened in his life. The story is basically about Kellin telling his story to the therapist.
