Después de que Kagome saliera de las sombras, InuYasha la invitó a vivir con él después de la graduación, y una serie de cartas que él jamas se atrevió a enviar, serán reveladas, sumándole también los problemas que trae la rutina y el conocimiento de ambos íntima y profundamente. -Es mi turno de salir de las sombras, Kagome- susurró en mi oído, dejándome paralizada- y ahora ambos...saldremos de ahí también- me besó el cuello y simplemente me dejé llevar por las nuevas sensaciones. Kagome es una estudiante común y corriente, pero se siente profundamente atraída al chico popular, InuYasha, y para desahogarse decide enviarle cartas todos los días, lo hace solo en el anonimato, lo que no sabe es que pronto, él comenzará a sentir cosas por su chica de las sombras, como firma cada carta. Después que Kagome regresara a su época hecha una furia por culpa de InuYasha, el va a buscarla indignado y descubre que tal vez sienta algo mas por ella cuando a rastras la lleva a lo profundo del bosque.

It was the day of their wedding. Once both Kikyo and Naraku were out of the picture, Kagome thought it to be wise, that both her and her love settle down. However all did not go as planned when another Villain rose for attempt to have the jewel in his grasp. Except once Naraku was defeated, the jewel for some unknown reason became powerless. Once the mighty battle ended, the power which the jewel once had, resided in but one person. Inuyasha, gaining great power, assumed it to be him and left Kagome out of fear for her safety. Crushed, they parted. Kagome went off to train, believing the reason was because of her lack of strength compared to both his brother and himself. Least did they know that the Villain figured out who had the hidden power, the power residing in Kagome. Years pass and Inuyasha comes face to face with Kagome... but will she be his Ally... or his Enemy?

After Kagome and Inuyasha fight once again, she decides to go home for good....but why was she taking so long to return? (Kagome X Inuyasha)
