This was going to be the best and biggest sailing trip of Emmy's life. As she sets out for their destination with her mom and stepdad, the excitement builds. But one night, her stepdad disappears, so it is up to Emmy and her mom to get to safety. But then tragedy strikes, and her mom is horribly injured. Now Emmy has to keep her mom alive and find a way through the treacherous and confusing Pacific Ocean. This story follows Emmy through many difficult situations that could mean life or death.
