The ocean was an unforgiving force that took as it pleased and gave little back. Astrid knew that to be a fact. I folded the paper and smoothed out all the edges to get a perfect paper airplane. I repeated the process to get about seven planes. Walking over to my window, I opened it and stepped onto the fire escape. I held up the planes one by one, and let them go. The planes flew through the New York sky doing loops and flips. The colors swirled through the sky like autumn leaves in the wind. The beauty astounded me to no end. Then, all of the sudden, a red blur swung by and a plane crashed right into it. I heard a muffled yelp and then the red and blue blur fell out of the sky. I gasped as I realized that I just hit Spiderman... in the face... with a paper airplane. ~~~~ Paisley Harvest is your normal, run of the mill, kind of girl.
