A wishful crossover what-if scenario that wouldn't get out of my head. Each chapter alternates between present and past in Ender's timeline, starting shortly after he becomes an official Speaker. The name of the story and the title of each chapter comes from a line of "Thou Traveler Unknown", an old beautiful hymn written by Charles Wesley. (Because I want to pretend I'm artsy and profound and stuff. Shush.)

Ender went out to find a planet suitable for the queen, the command center found out a few days after that. Now Ender's life is in the hands of a manhunter, sent to kill him or bring him back. What will it be? But destiny took its turn, what will happen to Ender?
