With only one name left on the list of non immune gladers, Thomas' wish comes true and Newt is spared. But you can't spare someone and not have to sacrifice another. Not with Wicked. Minho is slowly going mad but is determined to stay strong as the gladers try to live a normal life out in the scorch. Newt loves a boy who's surely dying but still can't seem to admit his love... Minho knows he needs to get away from his friends before he endangers them, but can't seem to bring himself to leave... Thomas is conflicted between love and logic, Newt and Minho, and above all, he knows he needs to take Wicked down... In the treacherous land of the Scorch, is there even any space for love and trust anymore?
