A butterfly is a gentle creature that floats in the wind, a vision of beauy for all to see. The morphism of a caterpillar, that ate, grew, and entered a cocoon to emerge a thing of beauty, a short-lived creature created to give pleasure to others. In popular culture, the butterfly symbolizes transient or short-lived beauty. Then it's beauty is being devour by a spider, it's wings slowly be ripped piece by piece till nothing is left yet the butterfly is still so beautiful, even without it's wings. This caught the spider's attention and leaves the beautiful butterfly alive as it's prisoner for only the spider to see, to touch, and one day to taste the essence of the beautiful butterfly's soul. For that beautiful butterfly was Alois and the spider was Claude. The saddening thing about this story is the beautiful butterfly fell in love with the spider though the spider had no intentions of loving the beautiful butterfly. What would you do if you didn't feel the same way about the person? You only desire for one thing. Of course, you take the easy way out. You lie. And so this beautiful butterfly was caught in the spider's Web of Lies. The manga and anime series Black Butler features an extensive cast of characters created by Yana Toboso. I did not own Black Butler, I'm just writing a fan fiction about it. Comment/Vote. ^ω^
