SEQUEL TO THE HAUNTING OF HILLCREST MANOR Elizabeth had come several months ago to Hillcrest Manor to be a governess or companion to the Lords invalid daughter Sarah. But when she arrives she got more than she bargained for. The house was truly haunted. Once she dealt with all of the spirits and had sent the evil beast straight to hell she thought the house was finally clean. But it wasn't to be. Now she realized that she was more than just a clairvoyant. Her abilities were becoming almost endless. Elizabeth as well as the old gypsy woman now knew that by sending the evil beast to hell only made him more powerful. Powerful enough to open a portal between their worlds, which releases all the evil creatures that reside there wanting to create 'hell on earth'. She is now the only one along with her strange group of traveling companions whom each have their own special powers to find a way to destroy all of these evil entities. Can they keep them from creating 'hell on earth' and seal the portal between the worlds once and for all? Or will they all die trying.

FIRST BOOK: THE SEQUEL IS THE RETURN OF THE BEAST Elizabeth Cole knew from an early age she was different from everyone else. She could see and talk with spirits. Now as a young adult, she meets an old gypsy woman at a carnival who does a reading for her. She looks into her crystal ball. "You are a clairvoyant. I see you going on a long, perilous journey with many obstacles to overcome. But you will have to be ve-ry careful, because there is such an evil presence there that you are the only one who can help this family." The gypsy looked down again at her crystal ball. "I see a misty forest and you are all alone in the dark, trapped. No one enters the forest, especially at night. All who go in ... never come out. There is good and evil there." The gypsy gives her an amulet. She has cast a spell on it to repel all evil. She can contact her with it. When she returns home, her father made arrangements with Nicholas Blackwood for her to be a governess for his daughter, Sarah. When she finally meets Sarah she tells Elizabeth about the evil spirit that resides here. That every night it frightens her with its horrible screeching and pounding even though her father locks all the doors every night at sundown. Everyone is to remain in their bedrooms no matter what they hear, until daybreak. Can Elizabeth help this family rid itself of all the evil spirits that reside here or will she die trying along with the entire Blackwood family?
