Natalie Conners is Johnathan 'Johnny' Loughran's best friend. They've been friends since diapers, and Natalie goes with Johnny on all of his adventures. They've been all over the world ranging from the Pyramids of Egypt, where they found cursed objects and cool mummies, to trying to find the Lost City of Atlantis, which they almost made it to if it weren't for Johnny freaking out over seeing a large shark. This time, they're travelling through Transylvania where all the monster stories they've grown up on have originated from. As they're travelling, they stop at a cabin for the night where an old lady's terrified husband tells them about a haunted forest, and who wouldn't go there? Instead of staying the night, Natalie and Johnny immediately set off to the creepy forest, looking for ghosts and whatever else goes 'bump' in the night. Unfortunately, while they're exploring, Johnny ends up falling down a hill due to his clumsy nature, and this brings the two best friends to find a group of strange people on fire! Of course, who wouldn't follow the people who are on fire and seem to be completely immune to it? This brings them to the biggest castle they have ever seen. What happens when they decide to follow the strange number of creatures that are going in and out of the castle? Read and find out.

This story is about a girl named Rose Winter, and does she ever live up to her name. With waist long hair as white as snow and skin just as pale, the girl is rumored to be the embodiment of the cold season. Even if the girl's fiery temper says the opposite. Due to looking so strange and out of place, Rose tends to get bullied a lot even if her temper makes her fire back at the bullies with more heat than they can usually handle. The only reprieve that the girl gets from all the bullies is when they decide to attack the other strange people in the seemingly perfect town. The Addams family is full of strange and weird characters, who intrigue Rose to no end. Especially the 6ft tall goth boy, Wednesday Addams. She's wanted to befriend the tall boy on several occasions, but she doesn't want to just randomly strike up a conversation, so she's left to watching Wednesday from afar. That is, until a certain Addams decides that he's done watching the girl he claims as his from afar.
