With Megatron out of the way, Starscream takes control of the Decepticons while his former master lays in med bay on the edge of death. Dark energon is the only thing keeping him somewhat alive. As the world around Megatron changes, he is thrown into the Pit where he is tormented beyond his imagination. He sends one final plea to Starscream in a dream, but whether the Seeker chooses to listen is out of Megatron's control.

Lord Megatron has always found Starscream to be more trouble than he was worth, but when the idea of gaining more of the rare Seeker breed is placed in his processor, the warlord decides he may as well learn how to take care of his new pet.
