Everyone at school knows Andrew Jennings. Missing an arm. Openly gay. But when he meets star athlete Ryan Sullivan in therapy, can friendship lead to more? ***** When Andrew 'Jacky' Jennings ends up in therapy after an English assignment gone wrong, he doesn't expect to find his high school's star athlete, Ryan Sullivan, sitting in the same waiting room. After all, he and Ryan couldn't be more different: football captain, future valedictorian, and all-around nice guy, Ryan is the school's golden boy, while Andrew is known for his permanent snarl, being openly gay, and losing his left arm (along with his father and sister) in a car accident. But when Andrew learns they actually have a lot in common, he's surprised to see past the enigma that is Ryan Sullivan and his seemingly perfect life. And as the two boys begin to connect over their shared grief, depression, and teenage angst, they might just discover a little pocket of happiness for themselves -- if they're willing to fight for it. For Blake Ashby, college was supposed to be her saving grace. A place to start over from her tainted past in Upstate New York and begin her lifelong dream of studying Psychology. For all her life Blake has only ever had herself to depend on and as of recent months, her new online pen pal Ace, whom she met in a Northeastern University chat room over the summer. He's the only guy who's ever seemed to understand Blake on a deeper level, yet she's too apprehensive to even tell him her real name. But when she arrives in Boston ready for what should be the first day of her new life, she's met with Jaxon Reid, the tall, equal parts charming and obnoxious boy who's claiming to be her new roommate. When a mistake in an online roommate match leaves Blake and Jax at a standstill, they agree that tolerating each other is the only other option. As always, Blake's life continues to get more and more complicated. But as Blake begins to feel more than a subtle hatred for her snarky roommate, she starts to learn what a thin line there really is between love and hate. Blake starts to feel torn as she comes to realize that she's not so sure where her heart is at anymore; is it with the sweet boy in her messenger app, or the mysterious one down the hall? But what if the choice is even simpler than it is complicated? What if Jax and Ace have been the same person all along?

She likes fashion, dating, not being on time and getting what she wants - until she meets Sean, who is like the clock striking midnight; he erases all her magic power. He is as mature and sophisticated as the dark roasted coffee he drinks, while she is like a lollipop: colorful, dazzling on the outside but empty calories and artificial sweeteners on the inside. The attraction is instant, but getting a kiss is only the first step. To keep their fire burning, they must accept each other's differences and decide if what they're building is strong enough to survive trials, jealousy, expectations, and the fear of becoming someone they no longer recognize.

SEQUEL TO:- "THE BETA'S UNWANTED MATE CANNOT be read as a stand alone. You have to have read THE BETA'S UNWANTED MATE including chapters 2.00, 2.01, 2.03 and 2.04 (that are within the same book). --- "I can't believe you could do this to me," he said, shaking his head, his eyes filled with so many emotions that made my heart squeeze with pain and agony. "How could you..." he whispered, "After all those years I looked for my mate. After all those years I fought with the world for you..." His eyes were filling up with tears and by this point, I was in so much of pain that someone could claw my heart out of my chest, and I won't feel it. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to..." I pleaded, my voice showing my desperation and my actions expressing how sorry I was. "You're not sorry. You probably still don't believe me," he said, shaking his head, looking away from me. "I trust you." I said, softly. Moving towards him. "But you're still with her too." He said, his voice turning dark and bitter. "You can't have it both way, Rosalita. It's either her or me." "But-" I started, but he cut me off. "No." He said, "I don't want any excuses." "She lies to you, Rosalita. Don't you see? She used you. She played with your feelings." He said, provoking me, in a loud voice. A chill ran down my spine and a bitter feeling filled my heart as I heard his words. I didn't need a reminder. "She's still my friend though." I said, sounding weak to my own ears. But I couldn't leave her. Especially not at this point. He sighed, tired of me. "Look, I don't know what to say, I don't know what to do if you have decided to act blind like this. I didn't want to do this ..but now I'll have to," he looked at me in my eyes with an icy expression. "Do you want me to forgive you?" He asked. "Of course." I answered, in a heartbeat. "Alright, then prove me that you are with me and not with her anymore. Kill my biggest enemy Olivia Hart for me."
