Have you ever wondered what happened before Pearl Jam? Before Bad Radio? Before everything? What was Eddie like before he became Eddie Vedder? Here's a little short story that tries to give a few answers. It's not the classic Pearl Jam era story, it may sound weird at the beginning, but I hope you'll read it to the end ;)

(Chris Cornell/Eddie Vedder) In a world where the hanahaki disease exists, it's something that many suffer with. When a young man of the name Eddie Vedder meets his neighbor, Chris, he falls in love; leaving him with the disease too.

*slow burn* Eddie is the new kid in town and is struggling with making friends and dealing with home life. Chris was just trying to be nice at first but eventually begins to realize he has feelings for Eddie. BUT, Eddie and Jeff have a history that predates anything between Eddie and Chris. Will this affect Eddie's and Chris's relationship? And what about bad boy Jerry? He's determined to get Eddie for himself but will he succeed? Will Eddie be able to see past his bad boy image and fall for him? Read to find out.

This is the story of Eddie and Izzy, my first completed fic. I poured my heart and soul into this one :) I hope you enjoy it!
