"Long night, eh?" He asked. "Aren't they all?" She replied, with a small smile and left. I watched her slender figure move away. Her buzz cut brown hair blown lightly by the wind, as she walked on, swallowed by the darkness. I followed her, hidden in the shadow of the night. I watched her as she made her way towards her car. Sitting down on the deck, she pulled her legs to her chest, hugging them tight, and sat there watching the stars kiss the night. It would make a beautiful picture, I might add. I could almost feel her forlorn vibe cast upon me and I shuddered, She was so still that I thought she might have fallen asleep sitting. But then there was a slight movement, almost unnoticeable. Then I saw her do it again, pat the spot next to her. "Come on, Andrew. I won't bite." All these time she never turned bxack. I made my way to her, letting out an embarrassed chuckle. How did she know? I sat down beside her and started fidgeting, not know what to say after being caught in my little stalkerish behavior. I turned my face towards her, almost starting with my explanation, but I stopped myself. She was still looking at the waves, the moonlight fell on her face, carving out her beautiful features. A smile hung on her lips, but it didn't really reach her eyes. A sad smile. Then she opened her mouth and said, "Isn't it funny how we start dying since the day we were born?" How will I ever figure this girl out? _ Aria Dallas, feisty, cold and your typical bad girl, who has a lot of shit going around her life. From running away from home to drug dealers who wants her dead. The last thing on her mind was to fall in love. Andrew Ergot, sweet, ordinary boy with good grades. School sweetheart, but nevertheless, he has his share of problems too. And, he wants nothing more than to meet a girl who would just make him feel right. What'll happen when these two, from different poles, cross each other's paths? Can two broken hearts mend each other?

Maddie sees her twenty fifth birthday as being the turning point in her life. She feels unloved and worthless, she made one mistake as a teenager and it's hung over her ever since. He plays the girls hearts as though he was on a football field to fit his label. And he is route cause of any trouble. You'd think that these two opposites would never associate themselves with each other and no one expected this to happen but in Health Class they are allocated to be partners.
