Her sister Rydel is a big influence to her and her brother Riker, Rocky, Ross & Ryland are showing her all their skills. They met Ratliff a few years ago and they started a band. Well, Riker, Rydel, Ratliff, Rocky & Ross did while Ryland started DJ-ing. Everyone in her life was busy so she didn't know what to do anymore. By Your Side - A quite musical love story. When the band R5 announces that they're going to take a two months' break, Katie Walden doesn't really care at all. All she cares about are the upcoming summer holidays which she plans to spend attending a series of seminars to improve her guitar skills and to learn new instruments. But things change, when she meets her coach for the bass guitar lessons, who so happens to be Riker Lynch, the bassist and vocalist of R5.
