They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago. The dance has died. The world has fallen still. We float through the heavens, one half always in light, one half always in shadow. Like the moth of our forests, one wing white and the other black, we are torn. My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark. I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.

"he lost himself holding onto someone who didn't care about losing him." in which a boy writes anonymous letters and throws them away as airplanes. » completed as of August 17, 2015 ((Wattys2015)) ((I wrote this in the hospital and I was under the influence of a lot of drugs and painkillers, so some of the scenes probably don't make a lot of sense. I thought about editing it but I'm lazy and it was kind of funny reading back through it after I was discharged.)) ((long story short, i wasn't thinking straight and I wasn't in the right condition to produce coherent writing.))

Not only is gorgeous college boy gay as well, he also wants to date Sem. Now, Sem was never one to play it safe. Half of us wake up tired and sore while all of us wake up smelling of either lotion or bleach. But during the nine month period of hibernation, I woke up. And now I know why I always wake up sore and reeking of bleach. ⥀ Humans have always strived for equality, for everyone to be treated equal. We finally reached the point of this harmony, this level of sameness--and everyone is happy. Many, many generations later. But what happens when, in a wold of people knocked down and stood up to be exactly alike, a person wants to be different?
