Ang aparatong ito ay tila isang hard drive device na may kakayahang i-tala ang lahat ng mga pangyayari ng isang host mula pagkasilang hanggang sa pagtanda. Ang memory gene na nakakabit sa likurang bahagi ng ulo ng nagmamay-ari ng aparatong iyon ay maaaring ilipat sa isa pang katawan upang mabuhay bilang siya o ang kanyang katauhan. Nagsimulang lumaganap ang pag-gamit ng aparatong ito dahil na rin sa pag-aproba ng gobyerno ng Europa upang mapahaba ang life span ng isang tao ngunit tinutulan ito ng ilang mga bansa dahil na rin sa pagkitil ng buhay upang maging container ng mga taong gumagamit nito. Kalaunan ay nahati ang lipunan sa tatlong klasipikasyon dahil sa aparatong iyon. Una, ang mga bidder o ang mga mayayaman o nakatataas sa lipunan na siyang tanging nakakagamit ng memory gene. Sila ang may kakayahan upang bumili ng katawan ng commoner o ng bidder upang paglipatan ng kanilang mga memory gene para mabuhay kahit gaano pa katagal. Pangalawa, ang mga commoner o ang mga may kaya ngunit hindi pa umaabot sa klasipikasyon ng pagiging bidder.
