Jude's life goal was to make people happy. People...or a person. Anyone really. He valued happiness more than anything and wanted to be able to share that if it meant possibly making someone else happy. He finally got his chance, but with Aster, the unsocial 17 year old that everyone else thought wasn't worth their time, or time in general.

During the years of 1971 and 1972, strange things started to happen to a little girl's family and no one could figure out why. Ruby was given a diary to write down her day to day life during this time period, and very odd and frightening things are written and described in it. Short after, she dies of mysterious circumstances and no one can figure out what has happened; if it is a curse or something more sinister. This is Ruby's diary. "What more is there to live for?", she said in between soft sobs. Frustration swept within his body as he struggled for words of comfort. She cried harder, her usual long neat braid was now a disheveled mess. Kalin took shakey steps towards her, still unaware of what to do. At the foot of her feet he sat down, then slowly reached for her hand. She hesitated at first, flinching at the feel of his touch. Eventually giving in, their hands interlocked as he held on tightly. "I don't know how it feels to be going through what you're going through", he said freely, letting the words slip out, "but I want you to know that I'm here for you". Watching tears fall from her cheek to the ground, he went on, "I know it's hard for you too let people be there for you", he started before lifting her head up with his free hand. His sparkly green eyes were now an intense dark shade of green as they fixated on hers. "Let me be your person".

Myles and Kalin meant what they said by falling in love in a meet and greet. A story about how a girl and her sister's life changes after a simple meet and greet with Kalin and Myles.
