When he turns 18, he packs up and escapes the hell, he once thought would help him. After two weeks, he gets jumped, and nearly dies on the spot, but he's saved by Louis Stimson. Upon waking up from a coma, Jared realizes Louis is still there. They move in together after Louis finds out Jared has no place to stay, and they fall in love.
