Adrian had hunted Amélie for longer than he cared to admit. And that, coming from him, was saying something. Usually, he found no difficulty seeking out the girls he had been assigned and luring them in with his handsome figure and tantalizing smile. He was an Incubus, after all - a demon whose specialty was seduction. He had broken more hearts than he could count. What he did, he did without feeling, and without remorse. Such was the existence of a demon. Until he found Amelie. She - a petite yet unquestionably strong-willed young woman - hadn't swooned at Adrian's feet when she first saw him, but turned and bolted in the opposite direction as fast as her feet could carry her. It was as though she had known exactly what he had come for the instant she met his sparkling green eyes. He would know her inside and out better than she knew herself before he was through with her though. And when he was, she would belong to him mind, body and soul. The fact that she had powers she was only just beginning to discover was merely a bonus.

(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. *Re-published from Radish* "Miss. Haze, why, it's a pleasure to see you again." he smiled. "How has life been treating you after school?" I remained silent, too shocked to form any words. As soon as I tried to say something, it would die on my tongue, leaving my mouth dry. I swallowed, struggling to think of what to say to him. What do you say to the man you once bullied? The truth? No. He'll never believe me, he'll forever hate me. "Liam..." I whispered. His eyes flashed, "It's Mr. Wolf." I cleared my throat, "O-of course, Mr. Wolf. Life has been...fine." "Fine?" "Yes, fine." He pursed his lips, his eyes sparkled with the hatred I knew so well. I released a shaky breath before grabbing my bag and swinging it over my shoulder. I quickly snatched up my folder as well, not wanting to stay in his office any longer. "I'm sorry for bothering you, Mr. Wolf." I mumbled, turning to leave. "Your interview isn't over, Miss. Haze." he sounded. I spun around, "Wh-what?" He smirked, "Sit down, Miss. Haze. The fun has just begun." **** He promised her hell if he ever saw her again, but she had brushed him off. Believing she wouldn't ever see him again after high school, thinking she was safe. However, fate and luck hated her at the same time. Now, Avalon finds herself sitting before her old victim, the man she bullied when they were high school students. For four years she made his life hell and now, she knew, he would do the same to her. After all, Liam Wolf never broke a promise.

Growling lowly, I rose from my seated position and took a few steps back from the door and stood in my fighting stance, preparing myself for the worst. If it means having to knock out the Alpha so I could get to BlueMoon, so be it. "You're not going to be serious," Aiden said, a frown appearing on his handsome face as he stood there, sighing. "You're weak." "And you're just a big, bad alpha," I replied with a roll of my eyes. "Let's get this over and done with." - -A King Only Bows Down To His Queen -

Alexei might have to rethink and reevaluate the way he's been living--if he plans on winning the heart of the one person who was made to save him. The problem is she seems to be just as stubborn and ill-tempered as him and if that wasn't his only problem it looks like there is some dark druid on the loose trying use forbidden magic to awaken a dark power. What does he need to complete this rite? Oh only a virgin druid sacrifice and it looks like he has his eyes set on Poppy. *Second Book in The Grimm Brothers Trilogy* Cover by @PANANABELS
