This is what everyone's been waiting for. This is what I as an author have been waiting for. I promised myself I wouldn't force out and publish anything if my heart wasn't in it. Now it is. And I hope it's all you expect it to be.

Adrienne Griffin, better known as Dri, resides and works in the small town of Warren, Michigan. Safety is something to always consider when going out and about, especially at night. When an incident leads to a decision making, Dri makes the wrong one and ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Who else to find her in her time of need than the man she barely knew, barely heard about, and seen only a few nights before? Out of nothing comes more than Dri had ever hoped to find, and she's not the only one who's left breathless in the end. (Note: For nearly ten months, this story has had the same bland description. I finally rewrote it, and would just like to add this is definitely not a cliche story, so you're in for surprises.)

"Are you okay?" Marshall asks breathlessly. I can only manage a nod of my head in return. I start to lean in. Wait, what am I doing?! Why do I trust this guy enough to have told him so much about me? He must be able to mind read or some shit because at the same time as me be pulled away. A light blush is on his cheeks too. "I'm sorry-" we both say at the same time. We both manage an awkward laugh, and I look down at the ground. I scratch the back of my neck as an awkward silence fills the air. "Why don't we talk about this somewhere else?" Marshall says making me look up at him. His tone was cold and emotionless much like my own. His eyes had shifted into their darker shade of blue. I nod my head and he starts walking out of the bathroom. I follow him close behind and think to myself. "What the fuck is he doing in my life?"

"I felt a hand swiftly make reach for my arm. I jumped badly as soon as it grasped me, me fixing my attention on who had just done that. 'Yo, who the f*ck is that guy? He causing you trouble?' I answered back to the dark-faced man, my heart racing. 'Some creep. I need to get out of here without being caught,' I spoke nervously. Hesitating, not knowing what to do, the stranger in front of me pulled something out from his pockets in a huff and quick reaction. ...car keys? 'Keep hidden and stay safe, alright? Hold on to those-I'll meet you out,' he leaned forward in my ear to tell me. 'Wh-' I glanced quickly at his barely visible face. 'Go!' he ordered.
