This is a One Shot Entry for the Imagery Contests' 4th Challenge. Onyx is a kingdom secluded from international modern influences, located in Northern England. This caged, hidden realm is reigned by King William the Child of Onyx. He is gifted with two sons, who were both killed in the Great Civil War against Monarchy. The royals won the war, but in order to compromise, they imposed a pseudo democratic monarchy type of government, where the Crowned Heir will be chosen by the people, when both of the king's grandchildren come of age. Princess Shauna was always thought to be mentally challenged, maybe even schizophrenic. Despite her incapacities, her birth right gave her an equal chance to be the Ruler of the kingdom. SECOND PLACER: IMAGERY CONTESTS' THIRD CHALLENGE This is a Heroes of Olympus fanfiction with a twist of Alice in wonderland ONE SHOT entry for the Imagery Contests. In @Maxwell_S 's Imagery Contest, a photo is given in the media box and you have to write something about it. Exciting challenge, I know! The picture that inspired me to write about this is in the media box of the first (and only) chapter. No copyright infringement intended. All but one is a character made by my fave author, Rick Riordan. The setting is in the cave of Delphi, now occupied by monsters led by Python. A young, unsuspecting, and curious "mortal" girl ended up to this cave. She was held as a captive along with Percy, who is in another quest with the Heroes of Olympus, when he was captured by Kampê and brought to the desecrated cave. How will they escape? Simple. They'll run.
