AGE OF GLORY Book One · ~ · ~ · ~ · ~ · "Pietro," Wanda whispers to him in Sokovian, "Pietro, come back. Dear brother, I need you." His vitals come back on, only a moment passes before he flat lines again, but there's still brain activity. "Tony, more!" "I'm trying! Dr. Banner is way more suited to this than I am." Tony's hands go wild, trying to keep his new found, new lost, friend alive for one more second so that Wanda can work her magic. "Pietro!" Wanda yells, forcing will for him to live even harder to him. "Pietro, live!" Just as he vibrates at the highest frequency, his body escapes into a bright light, disappearing from their world. Wanda is in shock. His mind is ripped apart from hers like glue. She grabs her head in her hands, trying to contain a scream. "Tony, what the hell happened?" Tony gazes at the empty spot where Pietro was. His eyes are empty; shock makes him stumble. "I-I don't know." · ~ · ~ · ~ · ~ · In an attempt to bring Pietro Maximoff back to life, Tony Stark and Helen Cho create a machine that vibrates Quicksilver's naturally vibrating molecules at a level that raises his brain activity. Wanda Maximoff uses her magical powers to get inside his head to coax him back to the world of the living. Instead of bringing Pietro back, the machine sends his body and mind to an alternate reality, where the Avengers are in comics and movies, and Quicksilver himself is no more than a famed character among nerds. Glory Northern is a high school student, almost to college. Planning to major in Creative Writing, she plans to try to work for Marvel Comics, creating the very characters she loves so much. Her life is all but unplanned. What happens when a unconscious Pietro falls onto her front lawn as she's walking home? Does she run away, or more precisely, she run away with him? Will Pietro get back to the world where he's died, or will he choose to stay with Glory? [COMPLETED] {Cover by @CaroDelMonte © 2017}

Planet Earth. That's where she was born. It's also where she died. The first time. For the first fifteen years of Jessie Nightshade's life, nothing happened. Nothing at all. Not ever. She joined SHIELD her freshman year of high school, but still, it seemed like nothing happened. And then she met a man called the Doctor, a man who could change his face. He took her away from her home in a machine and showed her the whole of time and space. She thought it would never end. It did. For that version of her, anyway. Then came Torchwood, and the War. And that was when it all ended. Jessie thought she knew who she was. She was wrong. After the Battle of Canary Wharf, three days after she died, she became a whole new person, with a whole new life to live. She had her forever. But she had it at a great cost. Still, she and the Doctor keep moving on. But the Bad Wolf is still there, and she just can't ignore it. And when Martha Jones joins the TARDIS crew, she can't help but wonder how just one small thing can affect everything. Because even though it's still her, she's not the only one struggling to adjust that this is what she's going to be now. Third in The Bad Wolf Chronicles *** BBC owns Doctor Who. MARVEL Studios owns any references to the Avengers or Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Jessie Nightshade is my own, and the cover belongs to _marvelous.
