Jayden is just a girl trying to forget her rough past. After she was in an abusive relationship, she doesn't think she will find love again. She ends up in Sierra, California, a little town along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. She branches out to her music career and meets a band called 5 Seconds of Summer. She becomes really good friends with all of them. The lead singer is interested in her, but she doesn't want to jump into a relationship. Luke on the other hand, won't let Jayden go without a fight. He still fights for her, still not knowing anything about her past. Will her past be forgotten forever, or will she eventually open up to someone?

"So, boring class, huh?" Conner asked after class as we all got up to leave. I decided to just ignore him until he gets tired of talking to me. I've used this method before and have found it always works. "Aw, you're going to ignore me now? That's cute. Because guess what Princess? I got all day to get you to talk to me. Don't think I'll get bored either, because when I want something," at this point his lips were right at my ear as he stood behind me while I was at my locker. "Kiss me." He orders, slamming my locker shut. "Is she coming?" I ask, turning my head to look behind me, but he grabs my face and makes me look up at him. "Yes, now kiss me." I do as told, getting on my tippy toes as I lean up to kiss him. He kisses me back slowly, before he pins me against the lockers and deepens the kiss. My eyes widen and I try to push him away. This isn't part of the deal. He pulls away, a full on smirk plastered on his face. "I lied." He confesses, turning around. "She wasn't coming." Then, he walks away.
