I ship Markimash and so I wrote a fanfic about it :-)

Maladaptive daydreaming: a proposed condition in which a person excessively daydreams or fantasizes, sometimes as a response to prior psychological trauma or abuse. Aaron Ash comes from a broke home full of abuse, alcoholism and drug use. Sometimes he finds himself in daydreams that depict a better life. He, of course, can tell his dream world from reality which troubles him. In his daydream he has a friend, his only friend. This boy goes by the name of Mark and he dreams that this 'Mark' helps him with his troubles. What if one day this Mark character that Aaron has created in his mind comes to life, and goes to his very school? The cannibals obsession is stalled when he wants to keep the boy alive for his own twisted entertainment, but the boy is determined to escape the man. That is until the cannibal starts to fall for the boy and will stop at nothing to keep him for himself.
