Niemand schien sie zu akzeptieren, geschweige denn zu mögen und das einzige worauf Alice sich freute waren die Ferien, welche endlich anfingen. Doch als ihre Mutter erzählte ,dass die Tochter ihrer Freundin für eine Woche bei ihnen bleiben müsste sank Alice Freude abrupt. Sie kannte diese Tochter nur zu gut. Es war Cope. Cope ging an ihre Schule und war genau das Gegenteil von Alice. Bunt angezogen, laut, offen und in ihren Augen überaus nervig. Aber jeder weis doch; Gegensätze ziehen sich an.
